• Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referral URLs, and interaction patterns.

• Verify your identity and professional licensure.
• Issue and maintain your OathCertified certification.
• Display your certification status publicly so that consumers, carriers, and partners can verify it.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Communicate with you about your certification, platform updates, and related matters.
• Analyze usage trends and platform performance.
• Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the integrity of the platform.

You acknowledge and agree that OathCertified may share, disclose, distribute, license, or otherwise make available your information — including your identity, professional credentials, certification status, and verification data — to third parties, including but not limited to:

• Insurance Carriers & Partners: We may share your certification data, professional information, and verification status with insurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), field marketing organizations (FMOs), and other industry partners.
• Advertisers & Marketing Partners: We may provide information about you as a certified agent — including your name, location, lines of authority, and certification status — to advertisers, sponsors, or marketing partners.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We may share information with vendors and service providers who assist us in operating the platform, processing verifications, hosting data, or providing analytics.
• Public Verification: Your certification number, name, and certification status are publicly searchable and verifiable by design.
• Legal & Regulatory: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

The Service is provided to you at no cost. There are no fees, charges, subscriptions, or financial commitments of any kind. In exchange for this free service, you acknowledge and agree that OathCertified retains the unrestricted right to monetize, commercialize, license, sell, or otherwise derive revenue from any and all data collected through the Service, including but not limited to your personal information, professional credentials, certification data, verification posts, and usage data.

This right extends to any future monetization models we may adopt, including but not limited to: selling aggregated or individual data to third parties, providing lead generation or agent matching services to carriers and consumers, displaying targeted advertising, licensing data to research or analytics firms, and any other lawful commercial use.

All data, content, and materials collected, generated, or derived through your use of the Service — including your certification records, signed oath, verification results, badges, and any posts or publications associated with your certification — are and shall remain the sole property of OathCertified. We reserve the right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and create derivative works from such data for any purpose, at our sole discretion.

We may use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to collect usage data, remember preferences, and analyze how the Service is used. Third-party analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) may also collect information on our behalf. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect certain functionality.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including maintaining your certification records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it.
